South Korea disputes alleged fuel shipments to Russia, pledges legal action
Fuel loaded at South Korean ports was shipped to Russia in July and August.
A Guardian investigation reported that over 176,000 tonnes of fuel were loaded in South Korea in July and August onto seven tankers making 14 voyages to Russia, including three sanctioned vessels. Seoul says exports are unconfirmed, loading itself was not unlawful, and it will investigate possible violations.
