EPA updates website on US production of PFOA and PFOS
Inhance produces up to 200 million plastic containers annually.
The EPA changed website language that had said PFOA and PFOS were phased out in the US, acknowledging that some production and use continues. The change followed a complaint by the Public Employees for Environmental Responsibility concerning Inhance plastic containers.
