Yemen’s former prime minister warns of Houthi threat in Taiz
Former Yemeni prime minister Maeen Abdulmalik Saeed called for more Western support, warning that a Houthi capture of Taiz could threaten access to the Bab al-Mandab strait and Aden. The Houthis have reportedly opened a new offensive along Yemen’s Red Sea coast.
