Israel Supreme Court overturns bans on Arab lists and reinstates Ofer Cassif
Israel’s Supreme Court overturned the Central Elections Committee’s bans on Ra’am and the Joint List, and reinstated Ofer Cassif by a 7-2 vote. Sami Abu Shehadeh withdrew after justices indicated they favored disqualifying him.
