China expels two senior military officers from Communist Party
China’s ruling Communist Party expelled senior military officers Zhang Youxia and Liu Zhenli and referred their cases to military legal authorities. Xinhua accused them of political disloyalty, faction-building, corruption and other serious misconduct; investigations were announced in January and they were removed from the military in late August.
