Guinea-Bissau denies approving hepatitis B vaccine trial
Guinea-Bissau’s health minister said the country had not approved a Danish-led trial that would vaccinate half of 14,000 newborns against hepatitis B at birth and withhold it from the rest for six weeks. The Danish committee was reportedly told local approval existed.
