Anthropic says Claude discovered a CRISPR-like enzyme system
Anthropic said its Claude AI model autonomously identified a previously unknown enzyme system in bacterial DNA after searching a large DNA-sequence database. The company said the system might represent a new gene-editing mechanism but has not determined its function.
