Paramount completed its $US113 billion takeover of Warner Bros. Discovery, forming Skydance under David Ellison and bringing CNN and CBS News under one roof. The deal includes an independent five-member editorial board and a pledge to produce 30 movies per year.

The Justice Department is investigating five networks over a boycott of White House pool coverage after credentials were revoked from CNN, MS NOW and Politico. Judge Timothy Kelly has ordered full access while saying the ban likely violated the First Amendment and the outlets’ lawsuit proceeds.
