US suspends major tech firms from PERM green-card programme
The US government suspended major technology companies, including Microsoft, Adobe, Cognizant, Infosys and Tata Consultancy Services, from the PERM green-card pathway amid alleged fraud. Officials also announced a crackdown involving nine universities and alleged J-1 visa abuses.
