Lebanon’s prime minister asserts state authority at the UN
Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam said only Lebanon’s constitutional institutions can speak and negotiate for the country. He outlined Lebanon’s position on ending the war, discussed negotiations with Israel and warned of a vacuum if UNIFIL withdraws.
